How We Met... Our love story
In the fall of 2000, Christiana and Edward never imagined they would ever become husband and wife.

Both were engulfed in schoolwork, activities and campus jobs to even notice each other until one day they were introduced by Christiana's roommate.  Edward recants his first impression of Christiana. "I used to think she was a teacher.  She was always on her way some place with her glasses and mailbag.  I wanted to be in her class." Christiana thought, "He's in another world with his headphones on and just kind of taking his time to get places. He must be really laid back I guess."

The meeting was nothing more than a mere hello and goodbye, but the two became acquaintances. Unfortunately, this was not the beginning of their relationship for other obligations had separated them for the remainder of the year.

At the beginning of their senior year of college they reconnected through mutual friends. Again, neither expected anything to progress or grow from the encounter, but they began to talk, listen, hear and know each other.

On October 15, 2001 Edward asked Christiana if they could date each other officially.  Smitten by Edwards genuine heart, kindness and sense of humor she said yes!

Nearly 7 years later, the two have shared challenges, triumphs, joys and milestones.
